first time for everything...

well... 4 papers are over... the next one is one week away... yes... far away...
yesterday while waiting for the school's internal shuttle, i got splashed... by a taxi no less...
there was a pothole by the bus stop... there was water in it... lots of water... the taxi ran into it... and water rained down... the usage of rained here is not an overexaggeration... it rained for about 2 seconds... i didn't get drenched... but the girl and guy next to me did... by the time i got to my venue... i was quite dried up... so it wasn't that big a deal...
but it was something that i didn't think could happen in real life...

mixed feelings...

have you ever had mixed feeling???
it's hard to describe... it's kinda like the feeling you get when you get pulled in 2 direction and both seem to be right or both seem to be just wrong and there isn't any better choice...

well... i'm having this feeling... this feeling that i should be studying... but there doesn't seem to be anything to study... some people are going to kill me for saying this... but really... i seem to be just passing the days waiting for the exams... however... more accurately... it seems that i don't know what to study... so while i start to study... i also start to daydream... and daydreaming just leads to falling asleep... bummer...

well... did badly for the last quiz of the first module... abit lost now... hopefully... it wouldn't be a lost cause... everyone studys so much... yet i seem to be entirely free... blogging...

it's that feeling... that micxed feeling...

have you ever wondered why there is always grey clouds on good friday... especially during the hours of noon till evening??? today it rained... and it rained the kind of rain that looked like it would contiune for a long time... and it did... i liked the rain... nothing calms the soul as much as a good old fashioned downpour...

for the smart asses that are asking weather there is such a thing as the newest fashion in rain... there is... it's under the label of industrial and the line most commonly found is acid...

anyways... enjoy the rain... you'll never know when you're goona expect it next...

anyways... the clip clearly and "mildly" accurately depicts how my company is... but it is no means the true picture of how we are are most of the time... sometimes we are serious... seriously...

okie... now for abit (tiny bit) of politics...

today... the SDA (singapore democratic association) has (FINALLY) declared three new party members... but honestly... i am totally not impressed... have you seen them???okie... at least i'm not impressed with one of them... this guy only has an "o" level cert... are they trying to reach out to a certin demograph??? and this guy's photo is... what can i say... not friendly... at least the other 2 candidates look friendly... maybe it's the fault of straits times... they choose a bad pic... but really he doesn't look friendly at all... maybe all he needs is a smile... a smiling photo would really help... and he says that his vice is singing karaoke... and if his political carrer don't work out... he'll consider cutting an album... right... i think he should just move on...

is there such a shortage of capable people??? maybe if he really shows his worth then i'll be impressed... but the first impression he gave is not working out...

have you watched the movie "the matrix"? i bet you have... there were 3 of them... i hope you've watch at least one... well there is this character in the movie called the oracle... she this person who knows everything... and everyone...

well guess what... i think i met her this morning... just had a one hour day... and it was a special tutorial slot that the tutor made up just to meet individual presentation groups instead of the entire tutorial class... well today for the first time... i had a good look at her, dr tara mohanan, up close... she talks like the oracle... in a slow a calming tone... and she has cookies.... and she even said the exact same words as the movie... here have a cookie... and when onone took any... she offered chocolates... and when i said no again due to an ulcer... she said... usually this cures everything...

well today wasn't one of those days where things went right for me...
well actually it was just the quiz... the quiz was a killer... damn... it was tough...

who really cares if a word like bold can take both the adjective and noun characteristics???
and who really cares if the subject in a sentence is implied and doesn't really exist???
and who really cares if i know how to draw a grammaticall function tree???

anyways... quiz = bad... and it will be so till the results come out... which is next wed...

we are all growing up...

just had a family lunch... hey it was my grandaunt's birthday again... time files... and the biggest news that i've got was that my cousin was getting married... she's 26... okie... she's the oldest person in my generation... and my generation is getting married... my brother is the second oldest person at 24... sigh... we are all growing up...

and as usual... family lunches are not that enjoyable... we have all reached the age when people start asking us (me and my brothers) if we have girlfriends... or when we would get married... haha... my little brother said... see first... haha... my da gu laughed... and getting married kinds of change people... i think... my cousin actually turned "aunty-ish"... she started asking aunty questions like where's you girlfriend and we could bring them to her wedding...

bummer...
