this is the start of the movie... of course there is more... but this is the part i like... if you want the full thing... google it... Guy Fawkes... or the first line... this guy tried to blow up parliment house long ago... but he failed...

well the movie is heavily laced with political undertones... some are mentioned more bluntly than others... but it seems to highlight one relationship that seemed to be going on well but apparenlty there is much bitterness on one side... it is the relationship between america and britian... in the film... there was this character proclaiming on television that they shouldn't send any more aid to america... and any patriotic brit would do well to throw the wheat heading for america into the sea... akin the boston tea party...

well it seems that the world has taken a turn for the worst... and this apparently is quite an understatment... the middle east war has left america in shambles... britian has problems of her own... there was a massive viral outbreak that killed 80,000... and this was masterminded by the people who wanted to take over... and take over they did... the party they set up was totally religious based... i think their slogan was: unity is our strength, unity through faith... well they have a secret police that arrested all people who are not "normal"... homos, non-christians, anyone who posses "banned" materials... they excuted this guy because he secertly owned a koran... but he's not muslim... but he still appreciates it... they even had a curfew for all... after 11pm till the next day 7am... so the kids here shouldn't be complaining...

and v... he's actually hugo weaving... but you never see his face... but his "agent smith" voice is easily recognizable... the movie was good... itkinda touched on some of the issues that are happening now in the world... like the middle east war... ethnic riots... and there was one thing i felt that they wanted to say was that governments should not rule with or by religious ideology... while most would think they were trying to stick something at the muslim states... but i think they are more likely to be sticking it at bush for regulary peppering his speeches with statements that God would back him up...

v also said something about the people... the people shouldn't fear the government... the government should fear the people... the people hold the power... i think this is going into the sociology exam essay... hahaha...

well there was almost real action in the cinema... there was this guy in the row before us... and he had a phone call and he picked up... and he was speaking quite loudly... we thought he was going to just pick up and then say he'll call back later... but NO... he had his coversation... next to him there was this ang moh... the ang moh was clearly not happy... and he actually threatened the old guy... luckliy the ang moh's girlfriend mangaed to calm him down... no fight... but after the movie... when the lights came on... both parties got a good look at each other... they stared at each other as they moved away... but i think the old man was more freaked out... he actually waited for the ang moh to leave before he got up from his seat...

well the last time i posted one entry that said that i didn't know that a test was cancelled... well apparently i didn't learn my lesson... i'm still not reading my emails/announcements...

so think week i was late for a test... i thought it was next week... hahaha
and today... well i didn't know a meeting was cancelled... so i waited for 45 minutes... okie... at least it forced me to study... so in a way it was a good thing...

will have to read the mail more often...

innocence...

recently a hand drawn poster for a lost pet appeared at my lift lobby...
the lost pet is a cockatoo... if you don't really know what a cockatoo is... it's something like a parrot... anyways... the poster says that it was lost over the weekend and the owner misses it badly... the owner's a kid... from the drawing... i think he's under five... also on the poster is the amount that will be given if anyone could produce the bird... a whooping $500,000... yup that's a comma not a decimal point... 500k... wonder where's the money going to come from... but the wierd thing is that... the amount was written in an adult handwriting... false hope??? i hope not... hahaha...
anyways... the poster is still there... so if you live around sunset way... look out for a grey cockatoo... it may just bring you $500,000...
the other thing i'm wondering is... i think the bird's endangered...

okie as usual... it has been a long time... but per normal... not many read this... so haha... i dun think it matters very much...

well... just came back from recruits camp yesterday... nothing too special... but like what someone told me after the hike... he appreciates the public transport in singapore much more... every time i go on a hike... i appreciate the fact that i can actually still do something like that... walk...

well today is drill day... hahaha... i had to fall out the Boys today... but halfway through the fall out... i forgot the command... so in the end i told them what to do instead of the command... hahaha... then after that... but someone told me the command and we did it again... hahaha... that's not all... i forgot the next command as well... blank... blank... all i could do was stare at the officers at the back who were staring back... hahaha... felt like digging a hole and burying myself... hahaha...

actually this isn't the first time this has happened... the last time it happened in army... during my medic course... i was the platoon ic and had to give the command for the platoon to number off and march... hahaha... also forgot command... than after that... i was suppose to get them to turn to the left to march off... then i said something... and everyone started laughing... i didn't know it... but apparently i said something wrong... i was like what??? hahaha... also dun know what i said... hahaha... but it was funny...

update on the experiment... seven hits... quite dissapointing... that's why i added tammy singapore...

watched underworld evolution just now... it is quite enjoyable... but i think it was released to far from the the original movie... quite lost sometimes... but i guess if you didn't see the first movie... it doesn't reallly matter either...

well... the point of today's entry is the auntie at the ticket counter... well ivan was suppose to buy the tix first cos we were afraid for some reason the cineman will be packed... but ivan couldn't get tix because in order for him to get 3 tix... we needed 3 ic(identity cards)... no cards no tix... so we came later to buy 3 tix with 3 cards... so wierd... it's not even like ivan looks like the type that would have a group of kids following him... even if he did... i dun think the kids will be the type that will watch underworld... more likely rugrats... no offence to ivan...

well i guess it's becasue there were some parts with nudity... so the auntie had to be more "strict"...

it's been awhile...

realised that i haven't written something in awhile...

so anyways... the most "recent" big thing that happened was the sex video that got circulated...
this is just a experiment... wondering if ppl are still googling her name...

got back some quiz and mid term test... okie... got marks that amaze me... thought i would die in a deep dark hole... but i managed to pass the cockaminia test... and today was another mid term... sociology... never did well for it... hopiong to get at least a C+...

need to write more essays... sianz...
