it's the night of the champions...
Tonight, is the night that many people are waiting for. It's Barca and Arsenal.
One team has world class strikers, the other boast a watertight defence, in Europe at least.
So, it's going to be a great match.
Every year, this match is fought among the best clubs in Europe, The cream of the crop play in this competion. Nothing less. Apart form the ridiculous amount of money they get from each match, being in the competion bring what money cannot buy, fans. Sure the money that the club get pales in comparision to the amount that they pay their players, but it helps.
Who will win tonight? Nobody can tell. Soccer the game, like the ball used in the game is round. You can learn to kick it the right way, but you can never really tell which way the ball is going to go, can you? The pudits are saying that Barca will lift the cup tonight. Based on their overall season's preformace I would have to agree. They have won their domestic league. Arsenal on the other hand are whimpy in their domestic league. They managed a last minute fourth spot due to a fortunate, yet mysterious, illness that befell Tottemham. One might say too bad too sad, but they do deserve our pity. Back form digressing, Arsenal are Kings in Europe this season, they beaten many great opponents to reach the finals tonight. They have a young squad but they are good. Many papers have carried the line: they don't know fear.
So I while I hope that a team that I once supported would be able to lift the coverted title, it would be a dream. Barca would be the more likely team to win. They have the experience and they have the ability. Arsenal only has the ability.
So i'm going to continue dreaming and say that tomolo morning i will find out that Arsenal have won. Tomolo morning, I will also find that many people have either taken sick leave, leave or come down with a mysterious illness just like the Tottemham team.
