too much time...

okie... it's like the second time i'm writing about having too much time and having nothing to fill it up with... but this sort of free wheeling in a stardard timezone activitites have got to stop... computer games really don't have the same addictive attachment that used to grip my less than available free time... so i'm really going to write... write a really story... not one of those short compositions that we were forced to pen when we were stuck in a classroom... this is a short story that i'am willingly going to write... hopefully it's not too short so i can maybe publish it and earn lots of money from it... but that's besides the point... the main point is to write to pass time and work the old noggin... army tends to rust it... it's also an effort to improve the language... army tends to destory it... but if you know me i wouldn't start till a week or two after so don't bother asking to read it... i'll send copies out for vetting... and constructive criticism... don't be sad if i don't send you one... it doesn't mean i don't trust your english powers... it just means i didn't send it to you...

other things that happened in the week... let's see... saturday apparently was like the offical day to organize a birthday party if your birthday fell around this weekend... went to two on one day... usually one in a day is the norm... both were of people that i've known for a long time... by that i mean i didn't just meet them in the last 12 months... it's quite comforting to know that people act exactly the same in public and at home... actually i'm like that too... better that than finding out you actually know an oscar winning actor/actress...

recently a book club was formed... and apprently i'm in it... fortunately there's no need for a organizer... otherwise i'm sure who the rest are oh-so-willing to pick... this book club is so unlike the types that we see on the telly... we don't meet at someone's home to talk about the book... we don't read the same book at the same time... we just rotate the books that we own and when we sit down once in a while for a cup of java we'll just unconsciously start talking about it and make our 2 cents worth of comments that will lead someone else in the "club" to want to borrow the book... the government should use us as it's speak good english campagine...
